In August 2021 I was stuck in a job I didn't much enjoy and the country was slowly coming out of yet another lockdown. I'm not gonna lie to you, it was a stressful time. So, with the encouragement from my friend, I picked up a crochet hook and some yarn in the hopes of learning a new hobby as a way to unwind and relax in the evenings.

That very first day I sat in front of YouTube for 8 hours straight and crocheted a tiny little wonky square. I sent a photo of it to my friend with the caption "This might be the hardest thing I've ever done".

Fast forward a year and here I am, Cosy Crochet by Tasha is now my full-time job and my little business has become an all-consuming passion.
