Stiff safety eyes! Help!

If you've ever bought safety eyes from Ali Express then you'll know that the backs are impossible to get on with just your fingers! I'd wager that even Hulk would struggle!

So, what can you do?

Get yourself onto Etsy and search for 'Safety eye jig'.

All you need to do to use this nifty little device is put the safety eye through your crochet piece as you normally would and put the back on as far as you can. You then choose whichever hole size is slightly smaller than the safety eye back, line that hole up on top of the back and then push down on the safety eye jig. If it's realllllly stiff then I'd recommend standing and pushing down with your whole weight to get the back on!
